Office Transformation
I had imagined Karen would push me toward minimalism, but her approach was refreshingly different. She respected my attachments and never pressured me to part with more than I was comfortable with, making the process far less stressful than I expected. (K.H.)
This small and exposed office was situated at the end of a hallway and was overflowing with boxes of documents and personal items. On DAY ONE we tackled the boxes creating categories that would help us sort through their contents. Some of the categories we used were memories (long term storage), to-do (for items that required an extra step or trip somewhere), donation, current documents. We also identified a nearby closet that was big enough to store things that didn’t need to be in the office. Once we started to know what items were staying and in what space we headed to Ikea to grab a few (but not too many) organizing tubs for storage and ordered the laser shelf.
On DAY TWO we placed everything into the right bins and were able to clear a lot of stuff from the office. Then the fun part! We played around with the furniture arrangement, tidied the books and placed art / fun sentimental items to gave the space some life.

K’sTestimonial:
Karen was a tremendous help. My office had become little more than a large storage closet, with a desk and printer buried under boxes I’d moved twice without unpacking. These boxes were crammed with old books, magazines, papers, knickknacks, photos, and memories. Whenever I tried tackling it on my own, I’d spend hours sifting through photos or flipping through journals, only to end up overwhelmed and stuck.
Karen changed that. Her guidance and the accountability of meeting at a set time kept me focused and motivated. She helped me decide what to keep, donate, or discard, and she provided creative solutions for organizing, categorizing, storing, and displaying the items I chose to keep.
Clearing out the clutter has been freeing, and it’s incredibly satisfying to have an organized space where meaningful keepsakes are beautifully displayed. I’d imagined Karen would push me toward minimalism, but her approach was refreshingly different. She respected my attachments and never pressured me to part with more than I was comfortable with, making the process far less stressful than I expected.
I wholeheartedly recommend Karen. She’ll help you create a space that’s not just functional but also a source of pride and joy.
